As Vice President of the Pace Properties and Avison Young Investment team, Carl specializes in the sale of shopping centers and related investment properties on both a local and regional basis.
Before joining Pace Properties, Carl was a Director of Asset Management for Koch Development company. He was responsible for maintaining strong tenant relationships, leasing, portfolio strategy, and ensuring the company met its short- and long-term strategic goals. Having also served as a Manager at Cassidy Turley, an industry-leading commercial real estate firm specializing in tenant representation, property management, and brokerage services. Carl has represented numerous clients, including H&R Block, Edward Jones, Aarons, and NxStage, where he was responsible for their expansion strategies, lease negotiations, new site selection, renewals, and disposition work.
Carl is a Southeast Missouri State University graduate with a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications. He is a licensed real estate broker in Missouri, a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), and an Innovating Commerce Serving Communities (ICSC) member.
When not looking for the latest investment opportunity, Carl enjoys spending his spare time at St. Louis CITY SC, Blues, and Cardinal games, concerts, or eating out with family and friends. Carl stays active with road/mountain biking, skiing, golf, and chasing his daughter around the house. At home, you may find Carl working in the garden or taking a nap on the back patio!
